Kalpavriksha
It is a tree which is believed to be about 1200 years old. This tree is counted among the oldest trees in the country. Nanda Devi National Park
Nanda Devi Park is around 23 kilo meters away from Joshinath. The Nanda Devi National Park was developed in the year 1982. Govind Ghat
Govind Ghat is located at a distance of 18.7 kilo meters away from Joshimath. The ghat is situated on the banks of the River Alaknanda. The place is also very popular for its famous religious destination, Hemkund Sahib. The exact meaning of the term Hemkund is "Lake of snow". It is also conceived that the place has been the place of meditating of Guru Gobind Singh. The site comprises of a temple and a gurudwara. The temple is dedicated to Lord Lakshman.
Ghangaria
Ghangaria ia hamlet placed at a distance of 23.5 kilo meter from Joshimath. Locally the area is popular by the name of Govind Dham.
