• Meet & greet with your instructor and travel guide in Rishikesh
• Commence travel to Ukhimath via Devprayag (confluence of the Alaknanda, Bhagirathi and Rudraprayag (confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini River).
• Arrival at Ukhimath in the evening.
• Check in at the home stay
• Dinner served
• Meditation and conclude the day (overnight stay)
Ukhimath is situated at an altitude of 1370 meters / 4500 feet above sea level. Ukhimath is the winter seat of Kedarnath, as well as the winter home of the priest who is appointed for the worship. After the Lord Shiva’s temple at Kedarnath closes for the winter, a movable image of Kedarnath (Lord Shiva) is brought in procession to Ukhimath, where it resides until the original Kedarnath temple reopens in late April - early May.
• Wake up to the snow-capped Himalayan ranges.
• Yoga practice from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m
• Delicious breakfast served at 8:30 a.m.
• Pack your bag and get ready for a 40 min drive to Sari Village (Traditional Himalayan Village)
• Commence the trek to Deoria Tal through the dense forest of Rhododendron along with wildflowers and ferns. The trek will take 2 to 3 hours.
• Arrive at Deoria Tal
• Set up the tents for the overnight stay near a Himalayan Lake
• Meditation
• Dinner 7.30 – 8.30pm
• Lights off
• Wake up to a Yoga class from 6:00 to 7:00 a.m.
• Breakfast
• Prep and commence trekking to Chopta (12 kms trek)
• Estimated arrival in the afternoon for Lunch with a mesmerizing 360-degree view of snow-covered Himalayan peaks
• Rest and relax post lunch in the picturesque surroundings exploring the beauty of Chopta • Meditation – 5.00 – 6.00pm
• Dinner – 7.00 – 8.00pm
• Lights off
• 6.00 am – Wake Up
• Commence sunrise trek to Tungnath with packed breakfast (3 Kms)
• Arrive at the Temple
• Spend time at the temple
• Proceed the trek to Chandrashila Summit (4000 mts above sea level, 1.5 Kms)
• Arrive at the Chandrashila summit
• Relax and rejuvenate in the Himalayan beauty
• Yoga session
• Return trek to Chopta
• Drive back to Rishikesh
• Lunch on the way back to Rishikesh
• Arrive in Rishikesh
• Dinner & overnight stay
Tungnath is the highest Shiva temple in the world. This temple is situated at the height of 3680 meters/12070 ft above sea level.
Chandrashila offers a 360-degree panoramic view of some of the very majestic Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi, Bantdarpunch, Chaukhamba and Kedar peak.
